Our patient’s feedback:
“The most comfortable orthotics I have ever worn.”
“I love the fact that my scan was done while running – so now I have FUNCTIONAL orthotics for when I am training!”
“The assessment was very informative. I liked that I was able to take the printout of my results home, and my scan was compared to an optimal scan so I could see the areas that need correcting.”
At 360 Degrees we offer GaitScan™. This is a state of the art computer hardware and software system that helps us assess and analyse your feet. This analysis combined with your physiotherapists’ experience and knowledge detects abnormal foot function which may be affecting your feet or other parts of your body
Your foot is in contact with the ground for about 0.8 of a second when walking and about 0.25 seconds when running. Imagine trying to determine normal or abnormal foot function with the naked eye in a quarter of a second? This is too difficult for even the most experienced practitioner.
The GaitScan™ system records your timing sequences during gait as you walk or run across the pressure plate. This enables our physiotherapists to have a clear picture of your foot mechanics and determine whether you would benefit from wearing custom made foot orthotics.
Orthotics are devices worn in your shoes that provide correction to your feet, helping them to function more effi ciently. Poor foot function and alignment may be the cause of various pains such as foot pain, hip pain, knee pain and back pain. Customised orthotics may help relieve your pain by realigning and stabilising the bones in your feet, restoring your natural walking pattern.
At 360 Degrees we are excited to be able to offer customised orthotics. Book your assessment and orthotic consult with our highly qualified physiotherapists today. Call 5572 6222.
